چکیده

Data protection and information security have been the essence of communication in today's digital era. Authentication secrecy secure are achieved using key-based cryptographic primitives; which significantly relies upon underlying computationally complex mathematics. Moreover, these existing primitives considered to be non-deterministic on basis computational capabilities. However, considerable advancements development quantum computers enhanced parallel computations; thereby, posing a great threat encryption primitives. Thus, future, physical manifestation large successful computer is likely break all public-key algorithms no time. This has led remarkable surge interest propelling mechanics into existence; subsequently, leading cryptographers research various viable domains offer quantum-resistant communications. Resultantly, cryptography/quantum key distribution emerged as futuristic replacement for classical cryptography it offers unconditionally along with inherent detection any unintended user. keeping view significance this relatively newer domain cryptography, focuses presenting consolidated review Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) protocols. A comparative analysis working mechanism prominent QKD protocols presented an overview emerging trends that proposed optimize implementational efficiency BB84 protocol.

Optical Networking for Quantum Key Distribution and Quantum Communications

Modern optical networking techniques have the potential to greatly extend the applicability of quantum communications by moving beyond simple point-to-point optical links, and by leveraging existing fibre infrastructures. We experimentally demonstrate many of the fundamental capabilities that are required. These include optical-layer multiplexing, switching, and routing of quantum signals; quan...

Scalable and lightweight key distribution for secure group communications

Securing group communications in dynamic and large-scale groups is more complex than securing one-to-one communications due to the inherent scalability issue of group key management. In particular, cost for key establishment and key renewing is usually relevant to the group size and subsequently becomes a performance bottleneck in achieving scalability. To address this problem, this paper propo...

A New Key Distribution Scheme for Secure Multicast Communications

In this short paper, we propose a new key management architecture for Multicast communications. This architecture combines the complementary variable approach with hashed keys and hierarchical binary trees. This will reduce the number of transmissions at the joins/leaves of participants. Also, we explain a naming method, which allows to facilitate the understanding of the hierarchical binary tr...

Unconditionally Secure Multipartite Quantum Key Distribution

We consider the problem of secure key distribution among n trustful agents: the goal is to distribute an identical random bit-string among the n agents over a noisy channel such that eavesdroppers learn little about it. We study the general situation where the only resources required are secure bipartite key distribution and authenticated classical communication. Accordingly, multipartite quant...

Secure quantum key distribution using squeezed states

We prove the security of a quantum key distribution scheme based on transmission of squeezed quantum states of a harmonic oscillator. Our proof employs quantum error-correcting codes that encode a finitedimensional quantum system in the infinite-dimensional Hilbert space of an oscillator, and protect against errors that shift the canonical variables p and q. If the noise in the quantum channel ...
